Makerlab recently celebrated a significant milestone with the launch of the Philippines’ first "3D Printing Experience Hub" on June 12 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. This event coincided with Makerlab’s 10th anniversary and the nation’s Independence Day, highlighting creativity and innovation.
The day transformed the mall into three engaging venues, welcoming a diverse audience including hobbyists, entrepreneurs, students, families, and industry leaders to explore the vast possibilities of 3D printing. Activities included live demonstrations, interactive exhibits, expert discussions, and technology showcases that demonstrated how 3D printing has become accessible and beneficial for Filipino creators across various fields such as education, healthcare, engineering, and design.
Mike Sy, CEO of Makerlab, emphasized that this launch marks a new era of innovation in the Philippines. He expressed a desire for more Filipinos to embrace 3D printing, describing it as a vital tool for education, business, creativity, and innovation.
