Quantum Cyber has successfully completed the purchase and installation of 80 units of a 3D Printing drone production farm at its manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This marks a significant milestone for the company, transitioning from plans to physical assets for drone production. This facility, which spans approximately 50,000 square feet, is set to handle various drone models including one-way attack units, interceptors, and surveillance systems.
The completion of the 3D printing farm follows pivotal developments for Quantum Cyber, including the launch of its Advanced Filament Manufacturing Division and the construction of its first mini-interceptor airframe earlier this year. The printing setup will utilize both standard PETG filament and a proprietary EMP-hardened composite filament, aimed at reducing supply chain dependency and enhancing production scalability.
To showcase its advancements, Quantum Cyber hosted several on-site visits to its Bridgeport facility, attended by representatives from investment firms and senior military officials. Although no investments or agreements were made during these visits, the company views these interactions as potential steps towards generating future commercial contracts.
David Lazar, the CEO of Quantum Cyber, remarked on the significance of this development, emphasizing the importance of converting the newly installed capacities into commercial contracts.
