String Cubed Unveils Regulation CF Offering to Expand the World’s First Functional 3D Printing Platform

String Cubed, a materials science company specializing in a new field known as analog computing, has announced the launch of a Regulation Crowdfunding offering aimed at expanding their innovative 3D printing technology. This initiative will allow public investment in their mission to revolutionize 3D printing beyond traditional plastic materials.

The company has secured a unique patent for matter-to-matter computing and has successfully commercialized eight functional materials, including a 3D-printed bar of soap and a solar-generating filament. Traditional 3D printers operate at temperatures that can compromise heat-sensitive materials, such as proteins or medicines. However, String Cubed’s patented vapor-cooling technology mitigates this issue by ingeniously integrating water into the filament. As the printing occurs, the water transforms into vapor, effectively dissipating heat and preserving the integrity of delicate compounds.

Founded by Manuel Rendon, who previously established Timeplast Inc., String Cubed’s innovative technology has already led to the development of products ranging from bioactive plant vitamins to a 3D-printed seed pod, Bloominite, which autonomously releases water and nutrients. Future plans include the creation of the Manifester, an at-home device that would enable users to print functional objects on demand.

The funding raised from this crowdfunding campaign will support further advancement of their materials library and assist in progressing towards the development of the Manifester. With a minimum investment of $500, both accredited and non-accredited investors are invited to participate. Interested individuals can find more information and become investors at invest.stringcubed.com.

String Cubed’s overarching goal is to merge physical production with the programmability and accessibility that digital computing offers, ultimately transforming how we produce and interact with materials.
