They recently unveiled a gigantic 7.5-foot-tall, 130-pound scale model of Castle Ravenloft, Strahd von Zarovich\u2019s infamous lair from "Curse of Strahd."<\/p>\n
The sheer scale of this model is remarkable; it poses challenges with its size, making it impossible to place on typical game tables or fit comfortably in standard homes. Bez Z\u00e1st\u011bny shared that the model took about 3,700 hours to print across multiple machines, consuming an indeterminate number of rolls of plastic filament.<\/p>\n
Originally, the design for the castle, called the "Castle of the Vampire Lord," was created by Mexican 3D print designer Axolote Gaming and crowdfunding was initiated for this ambitious project. While the main structure is completed, work continues on the catacombs and basement areas, suggesting that once finalized, the castle could become even larger as it sits on a mountain base that houses lower levels.<\/p>\n
In July, Bez Z\u00e1st\u011bny plans to use this colossal castle in a free, multi-table event in the Czech Republic, where it is anticipated to draw crowds eager to view the impressive creation.<\/p>\n
