When I finally tried to use it again, it showed a bed-temperature error and refused to print. I\u2019d already bought materials, so it was frustrating to discover the printer wasn\u2019t usable. I decided to buy a replacement: the <strong>Entina TINA2 Plus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I paid less than \u00a530,000 for it on Amazon, though there are several printers in that price range worth comparing. It\u2019s compact\u2014about 21 \u00d7 21 \u00d7 29 cm\u2014so it fits neatly on a desk. Its print area is small too, at 10 \u00d7 10 \u00d7 10 cm, which may be a plus or a limitation depending on what you want to make.<\/p>\n<p>The printer seems quiet, with little vibration, and it has automatic bed leveling. Setup was straightforward: there was no assembly, and I could start printing after taking it out of the box and following the manual to connect it to Wi-Fi. It also has a cover that makes it harder for children to reach inside, although the front and back remain open enough for hands to get through.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of things are less convenient. The material holder sits low. The included red filament works fine, but a standard 1 kg spool I bought elsewhere dragged on the floor when mounted.<\/p>\n<p>The included slicer software, WiiBuilder 2, is simple for basic prints and offers one-touch printing. But when I tried to adjust settings, I had trouble getting the results I wanted. The manual says Cura is also supported, so I may try that instead.<\/p>\n<p>I haven\u2019t used the printer enough to know what other drawbacks might appear, but I hope these early impressions help anyone considering an affordable 3D printer.
