For the last decade, 3D printing has been the go-to method for individuals looking to physically manifest their ideas easily and affordably. With the rise of more accessible Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, hobbyists can now create intricate designs with a range of materials, including metals, wood, and various thermoplastics.<\/p>\n

The InfiMaker K1 stands out by eliminating the necessity for complex commercial software traditionally used for 4 or 5-axis milling. It not only converts standard 2D images into 3D millable objects but also supports popular model file formats, including STL, STEP, and OBJ.<\/p>\n

Equipped with 5-axis cutting capabilities, the K1 allows for precision machining, including the ability to cut while tilting or rotating the workpiece. It features an automatic tool changer that can handle five different tools along with a ruby centering probe, enhancing its versatility. The spindle operates at 1.5kW and can reach speeds of up to 20,000 RPM, achieving accuracy levels of 0.01 millimeters.<\/p>\n
