Active in both the United States and Japan, 3D Architech has developed an innovative gel-based metal 3D printing technique. The first runner-up was AM3L, a French company specializing in metal additive manufacturing with a focus on creating structures with customized architectures. The second runner-up, Signature & Authentification des Matériaux (S.A.M), is also based in France, working on 3D printed authentication tokens aimed at combating counterfeiting and protecting data.
