Revolutionize Your Creativity: Introducing the QIDI Plus4, A Breakthrough 3D Printer for Everyday Users

QIDI has introduced the QIDI Plus4, a high-end 3D printer from their Plus series aimed at consumers seeking a large, versatile printing solution. It comes equipped with enhanced second-generation active chamber heating, distinguishing it prominently from its competitors.

This enhanced model supports a top print temperature of 370°C and features an expanded build volume of 305 x 305 x 280mm, accommodating a broader variety of high-performance filaments. The QIDI Plus4 also offers increased accuracy and simplified usability, poised to empower creativity and expand the horizons of 3D printing capabilities.

The dedicated R&D team at QIDI continues to focus on delivering superior quality FDM 3D printers, with the Plus4 reflecting significant upgrades in configuration and specifications.

The device’s active chamber heating system, highly praised in its prior model, has seen substantial improvements in the Plus4. This system now includes a 400W high-efficiency heating module, capable of achieving a chamber temperature of 65℃ in just 8 minutes.

The enhanced air flow system paired with a robust turbofan equalizes the temperature inside the chamber, which elevates the precision of printed models using high-temperature materials such as PC, ABS, and PA. This adjustment helps to prevent model warping and boosts layer adhesion.

The QIDI Plus4 features an independently driven dual z-axis motor, with an increase in screw and optical axis diameter from 8mm to 10mm, and the hotbed thickness augmented from 3mm to 6mm. These enhancements significantly improve the z-axis stability to industrial-grade standards. Additionally, the CoreXY structure of the printer is optimized to enhance the surface finish of the models.

At the heart of the Plus4, the hot end is upgraded to handle a maximum temperature of 370℃ with a 80W heating capacity, facilitating the use of industrial-grade filament such as PPS-CF. This powerful performance of the hot end ensures easy printing with high-end materials.

Moreover, the latest integrated bimetallic nozzle is highly compatible with various filaments, eliminating the need for changing the nozzle for different types like standard ABS, PLA, or fiber-enhanced filaments such as ABS-GF, PA-CF, and PET-CF.

The operating system and slicing software have been completely upgraded. The latest customised version of the V0.12.0 Klipper system is more compatible and beginner-friendly. The newly developed QIDI Studio brings faster and better 3D printing slicing capabilities, further optimising the printing results and further enhancing Plus4’s beginner-friendly and easy-to-use features.

In addition, Plus4 is equipped with the latest nozzle self-cleaning system, which integrates nozzle tip waste wiping and collection, as well as filament auto-cutting unloading, for full automation and greater convenience.

QIDI Plus4 has a dual-sensor auto-levelling system. In addition to the proximity probe on the right side of the nozzle, four piezoelectric sensors under the hotbed compensate for z-axis offset and complete the auto-levelling to ensure a perfect print on the first layer every time.
